#Sign Petition Now_ Deltan as Attorney General of the Republic of Brazil
José Luiz Maffei created this petition to press "Presidency of the Republic"
The name of Deltan Dallagnol is the most suitable for the Attorney General's Office. Because of his untiring struggle against corruption, the prosecutor who coordinates the Operation Car Wash has been the target of furious and lying attacks. On the one hand, there is a clear mobilization of the Supreme Court that attempts to remove it from Operation Car Wash. On the other, offensives that attempt - distortively - to place him as a partial person whose work has been invalidated by partisan political interests.
As Operation Car Wash Task Force coordinator, Deltan Dallagnol has stirred the most powerful and authoritarian spheres in the country, and of course the desire to destroy his image and neutralize his work has been increasingly intense. We have finally reached the apex of the Attorney Attacks. At this moment, we need, with utmost urgency, to express our appreciation for the work done by Deltan Dallagnol in pressing his appointment to take up the Attorney General's Office.
Ahead of the Lava Jato, Deltan has already helped to recover more than 40 billion reais that were stolen from public coffers!
It is time to show our gratitude for this incredible work done on behalf of our country. It is time for us to place Deltan Dallagnol as General Attorney.
About the attorney:
Deltan Dallagnol is a 38-year-old member of the Lava Jato task force, a Protestant Christian at the Baptist Church, a law graduate from the Federal University of Parana (UFPR) and a law master from Harvard. In its engagement in the fight against corruption, it reaffirmed its desire to ensure that criminals who commit this type of crime: "stay in jail longer and return money diverted from health, safety and education." It acted strongly in March 2016 to surpass 2 million signatures of the project “Ten measures against corruption”, created by the Federal Prosecutor's Office (MPF).
Has been awarded at least six times:
* Global Investigations Review;
* Republic Award;
* Help: Good Management Practices;
* Anti-Corruption Award;
* Innovare Award;
* Award from the International Association of Prosecutors.
He is the author of 4 books:
* The logic of evidence in the process - Direct evidence, evidence and presumptions. Publishing Lawyer Bookstore, 2015, ISBN 9788573489750;
* External Control of Police Activity By the Public Prosecution Service, 2013, ISBN 9788577617470;

Personal details
Born
Deltan Martinazzo Dallagnol
29 January 1980 (age 39)
Pato Branco, Brazil
Alma mater
Federal University of Paraná
Deltan Martinazzo Dallagnol (born January 29, 1980) is a Brazilian attorney of the Federal Public Ministry of Brazil. He is known for being the lead prosecutor of Operation Car Wash, an investigation into corruption in the Brazilian petroleum company Petrobras. He holds a law degree from the Federal University of Paraná and a master's degree from Harvard University.[1] Dallagnol is a practicing Baptist.[2] Dallagnol has been with the Public Ministry since 2003, and specializes in crimes against the national financial system and money laundering.
Illegal coordination with judge of the "Car Wash" Operation
Starting on June 10, 2019, The Intercept began publishing exposés based on a vast trove of leaked materials, including encrypted messages, "showing highly controversial, politicized, and legally dubious internal discussions and secret actions by the Operation Car Wash anti-corruption task force of prosecutors, led by the chief prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol, along with then-judge Sérgio Moro, now the powerful and internationally celebrated justice minister for Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro."[3] The reports even exposed that Dallagnol himself was not convinced about the evidence his office was bringing against ex-president Lula mere hours before presenting them in court.[4] These exposés caused an international furor, as they reveal illegal and politicized coordination between Dallagnol and the judge responsible for the operations, which included the imprisonment of Brazil's ex-president Lula.[5][6][7] The documents revealed by The Intercept reveal that Dallagnol, his task force, and judge Moro conspired explicitly to imprison Lula in order to prevent him from participating in the 2018 general elections, and continued to coordinate efforts to restrict his access to the press in order to weaken the electoral strength of the Workers' Party candidate running in Lula's place.[8][9] Dallagnol is now himself under investigation for prosecutorial misconduct.[10]

* Global Investigations Review;
* Prêmio República;
* Ajufe: Boas Práticas de Gestão;
* Prêmio Anticorrupção;
* Premio Innovare;
* Premio da International Association of Prosecutors.
É autor de 4 livros:
* As lógicas das provas no processo – Prova direta, indícios e presunções. Livraria do advogado editora, 2015, ISBN 9788573489750;
* Controle Externo da Atividade Policial Pelo Ministério Público, 2013, ISBN 9788577617470;
* Correção Monetária e Juros no Mútuo Bancário, 2002, ISBN 9788536202921;
